HighSqueeze Plus10 Rosin Bags:

The HighSqueeze Plus10 micron filter rosin press bags, made from high-quality FDA approved material. Moreover, they are strong and reliable. The Plus10 rosin bag design has two tightly stitched seams. The rosin bags supplied inside-out to add extra strength and are ready for use.

Micron refers to the size of the square holes in the filter mesh. The larger the number, the larger the hole. “A micron: Unit of length, one millionth of a meter or 0.001mm”.

• 15 25 and 37 micron are fine mesh, normally used for dry-sift or ice hash.
• 72 90 120 and 160 Pressing flower.
• 120 and 160 work well as holding bags for extra strength.

Belt braces approach, to packing rosin bags:

When pressing hash or dry-sift, double and triple bagging is common practice by top extractors. By using a combination of bags, for added strength. For example: By filling and then folding a 25u bag. Then fold the end and place the folded end in first to a 120 to 220 rosin bag. The filtration level is maintained while the bag is extremely strong.

Temperatures:

Recommended operating temperature between 82-115ºC. Extracts contain terpenes, these are your smells and flavour compounds. Higher temperatures can evaporate the most volatile terps, thus losing valuable flavours. There is a balancing act between temperature and volume of extract, verses quality of flavours. Only time and true experience can give you the answers you seek. I wish you well in your vouge of knowledge.
